Dr. George P. Kulchytsky

DR. GEORGE P. KULCHYTSKY, age 82, passed away peacefully surrounded by family and friends at Holy Family Home Hospice in Parma after a long illness. Beloved husband of Daria (nee Hulak); dearest father of Lev (Areta) and Danylo (Roma); grandfather of Darien, Kalyna, Evangelyna and Mychaylo. Born in Vynnycky, Ukraine. He emigrated to the United States after World War II. He received his PhD from Georgetown University and was tenured professor of history at Youngstown State University. A lifelong leader and activist in the Ukrainian American Community and was involved in many Ukrainian organizations.

Friends may call at THE KOLODIY-LAZUTA FUNERAL HOME, 5677 STATE RD., PARMA, SUNDAY 3-6 P.M. PARASTAS 6 P.M. Funeral Mass Monday, January 20 at 11 a.m. at St. Andrew Ukrainian Catholic Church, 7700 Hoertz Rd., Parma (PLEASE MEET AT CHURCH). In lieu of flowers family suggests contributions to Plast Restoration Fund or St. Andrew Ukrainian Catholic Church. Interment St. Andrew Cemetery.
