Karen Ann O'Malley

Karen Ann O’Malley (nee Kulow) of Parma, Ohio was called home by the Lord on December 22, 2024. She was born on April 8, 1948 in Cleveland, Ohio to the late David and Angela Kulow. She is survived by her four children: James, Jennifer, Craig, and Deborah; her grandson, William O’Malley; and her sister Donna Griesbach. 

Karen cherished her Catholic faith, and she found great joy in her parish community at St. Francis de Sales of Parma, Ohio. There, she served as a Mass Lector and a Eucharistic Minister and volunteered with the Social Justice Committee and the Parish School Religion classes. Karen also loved gardening, going on long walks in her neighborhood, and creating lovely memories for her children and grandson. 

Family and friends will be received at Kolodiy-Lazuta Funeral Home 5677 State Rd. Parma, OH 44134 on Friday, December 27 from 5:00pm to 8:00pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Tuesday, December 31 at 9:00am at St. Francis de Sales Catholic Church 3434 George Ave. Parma, OH 44134 followed by interment at Holy Cross Cemetery on Brook Park Road.
