LARISSA MUZYCZKA (nee Zwarun) (age 93) passed away peacefully in her home in Parma, OH on Monday, December 10th, 2024. Beloved wife of the late Dr. Jaroslaw Muzyczka. Loving sister of Andrew Zwarun, and his wife Judith Zwarun of Austin, TX. Dear aunt of Lara Zwarun, and her husband, Gerardo Camilo of St. Louis, MO and Oleksa Zwarun, and his wife, Mariana Kotenko, of Austin, TX. Caring great-aunt of Tatiana and Holden Bennett. Cherished life long friend of Annie Kitral. Larissa attended Clarke College in Dubuque, Iowa, and played an active role in managing her husband’s medical practice. Her passion was for the many charitable ways she helped and supported the orphans in Ukraine. She was also a member of Plast Ukrainian Scouting Organization and Ukrainian National Womens League of America Branch 12.
Family and friends are invited to a visitation on Friday, December 13th, 2024 from 6 PM – 8 PM (PARASTAS 7 PM) at Kolodiy-Lazuta Funeral Home 5677 State Rd. Parma, OH 44134. Funeral Liturgy on Saturday, December 14, 2024 at 10 AM St. Josaphat Ukrainian Catholic Cathedral 5720 State Rd. Parma, OH 44134. Interment St. Andrew Cemetery. In lieu of flowers please make contributions in memory of Larissa to Plast Camp-Pysanyj Kamin (“Friends of PK”) or Ukrainian National Womens League of America Branch 12.
