Lois Fay Rezie

Lois Fay Rezie (nee Weaver) was born on December 25, 1942, in Ravenna, Ohio, and passed away on January 12, 2025, in Parma, Ohio. She joins her husband, Dr. Orest M. Rezie (Ryzij); her brother, Donald Weaver; and her parents, John Weaver and Aleath C. Weaver (nee Corbett), in God’s loving embrace. She will be interred at Evergreen Cemetery in Streetsboro, Ohio. She was a graduate of Saint Luke’s Hospital of the Methodist Church School of Nursing in Cleveland, Ohio. As a registered nurse, she worked at the Brecksville campus of the Louis Stokes Cleveland Veterans Affairs Medical Center, Parma Community General Hospital, and, most recently, Pine Grove Facility for MR/DD. She was a proud member of the General Society of Mayflower Descendants by descent from John Alden, Priscilla Mullins, and William Mullins. She is survived by her son, Richard Rezie; daughter-in-law, Lydia Rezie (nee Kosc); and granddaughter Alexandra Rezie (and her beloved Yorkie, Jo Jo). She loved greatly and was greatly loved; she will be dearly missed.

Family and friends are invited to a Funeral Service on Friday, January 17, 2025 at 10 AM at Kolodiy-Lazuta Funeral Home 5677 State Rd. Parma, OH 44134. 

Interment to follow at Evergreen Cemetery, Streetsboro, OH.
